Ok, the fire team had a conference call and the Big Guy is all set and ready to meet all the kids of Schnecksville next Saturday!!!! Keep your eyes (and ears) open for our fire trucks starting between 8-8:30am on the 21st. We will also be posting on our Facebook page [Schnecksville Fire Dept.] as often as we can throughout the day as to where Santa is headed. History of Community Fire Company No. 1 Community Fire Co #1 of North Whitehall Twp., July 29 Early Beginnings: 1923-1925 The idea for the Community Fire Company No. 1 of North Whitehall Township began in the fall of 1923 at a meeting of the Odd-Fellows Lodge. Instead of building a hall for their lodge, members decided that the community needed a fire company. Inspired by the Greenawalds Fire Company, they began organizing efforts.
