The Pavilion at Community Fire Co. No. 1 is a heated, enclosed building situated about 400 feet behind our main building. The Pavilion is best accessed by turning west at the traffic signal on Route 309 onto Old Packhouse Road, the turn right at the second driveway.
There is plenty of parking and the facility can be used for events of all types including picnics, parties, receptions, flea markets, auctions, camp-outs, sales events, and shows. The pavilion has about 6,300 square feet (60' x 105') of floor space including a raised stage and features twelve overhead garage doors to fully accommodate both indoor and outdoor events. There is a fully equipped kitchen and restrooms.
Rates vary with the type of event. The building contains 70 tables (2 ½ x 8 feet), and approximately 300 metal folding chairs. A bingo machine and public address system are also available. Music and dancing are permitted until 10:00 PM and the premises must be vacated by 11:00 PM.
An inspection tour can be arranged to determine if the facility meets your needs. Food service provided by Community Fire Co. No. 1 or use of the kitchen can be arranged at an additional cost. Alcoholic beverages are permitted in the facility with restrictions and are the responsibility of the lessee.
Income from the rental of the facility benefits the Fire Company. Fire Company membership is not required to rent the pavilion.
