Things are really moving along on our [forced] renovations. The design and review/permit periods are mostly behind us, and we are moving ahead on the interior.
Recently completed are the roof replacement in the affected area and new ice guard and lifetime-warranted shingles installed on the entire structure. We could not match the original vinyl siding, so a new color was chosen and installed.
Right now the stage is being rebuilt to the new codes which will include a wheel chair lift providing access for all. ADA accessible bathrooms are being added and additional storage and office spaces have been framed out.
Mechanicals are the next step. This includes HVAC, plumbing and electrical installations. As we are essentially starting from scratch, the clean slate is being used to upgrade most systems. For example, the HVAC systems will be outside the building and many life safety improvements are in the works.
These all go hand-in-hand with improved efficiencies and traffic flow in the food and beverage service portion of the Banquet Hall.
We’re not ready to receive visitors just yet, but remain confident we will soon return to serving as a community gathering spot. Stay tuned!!!
