As many children have had their in-person birthday parties canceled due to social distancing efforts, our volunteers wanted to provide a way to celebrate these milestones. The six agencies composing the North Whitehall Township Emergency Services Organization have banded together to try to bring a little light(s and sirens) into the hearts of those affected by the current crisis. The fire companies of North Whitehall Township (Laurys Station, Neffs, Schnecksville, and Tri-Clover) along with Northern Valley EMS (NOVA) and Emergency Management, would like to offer Birthday Parades to any child or special needs adult who resides within our service area and has had to cancel live festivities during this stay at home order.
If you are interested, please visit https://forms.gle/JPdwsMjB9yDhSZpS9 to arrange a drive-by celebration. To ensure the safety of our First Responders as well as our residents, these mini-parades will be non-contact "drive-by" events only. We request that the community follow good social distancing practices and watch from a safe place and distance.
Our goal is to group several requests together to be able to accommodate everyone within a reasonable time. We are only able to schedule drive-by parades at homes within our response area for children or special needs adults who were not or will not be able to celebrate in person with family and friends during this stay at home order. We will respond to you within 72-hours to confirm your contact information and let you know when your parade has been scheduled. If you live in or know someone in our response area and would like to make a request, please use the form below.
Thank you so much for your continued support. Stay home, stay safe, wash your hands, and avoid touching your face. Together we can get through these trying times.
